Itinerary
- Arrive at Marrakech Menara Airport and transfer to your riad.
- Spend the afternoon exploring the vibrant Jemaa el-Fnaa square and the surrounding souks.
- A full day dedicated to exploring Marrakech's highlights with a local guide, including the Koutoubia Mosque, Bahia Palace, Saadian Tombs, and the Majorelle Gardens.
- Depart Marrakech, crossing the Tizi n'Tichka pass in the High Atlas Mountains.
- Visit the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, a fortified village and popular filming location.
- Travel through the Dades Gorges and the impressive Todra Gorge, a towering canyon with 300m high cliffs.
- Continue to Merzouga, the gateway to the Erg Chebbi dunes.
- In the late afternoon, enjoy a sunset camel trek into the dunes and spend the night in a traditional desert camp with Berber music and dinner.
- Wake up early for the desert sunrise. Spend the day exploring the Merzouga region by 4x4, visiting an ancient kohl mine, having tea with a nomadic family, and listening to Gnawa music in Khamlia village.
