Itinerary
- Early pickup from your Marrakech hotel or riad.
- Scenic drive across the High Atlas via Tizi n’Tichka pass with mountain views.
- Stop at Aït Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage ksar (fortified village).
- Visit Ouarzazate (“Hollywood of Africa”) with movie studios & kasbahs.
- Continue to the Dades Valley for dinner & overnight hotel/riad.
- Breakfast in Dades, then drive to Todra Gorges (dramatic canyon walls).
- Continue onward to Merzouga village on the edge of the Sahara.
- Camel trek into the sand dunes at sunset — peaceful, iconic views.
- Overnight in a desert camp (traditional tents or more comfortable luxury camps), dinner & campfire entertainment.
- Wake up early to watch sunrise over Erg Chebbi dunes.
- Return to Merzouga by camel or 4×4.
- Begin the long scenic drive back to Marrakech (via Alnif, Tazarine, Draa Valley palm groves, Ouarzazate, High Atlas).
- Drop-off back at your hotel in Marrakech late afternoon/evening.
